The other night at my independent film theatre I saw the movie 'Seraphina'. It really was wonderful. This actress was amazing and the story was amazing, as well.
Got an email that a film "The Visitor" was being shown at a local college so I saw it last night. Perfect movie to show how unjustly our USA can work (or not work) and how much we can gain by putting the right structures (laws) in place to allow intelligent, creative, productive, and honest immigrants a legal entry to contribute and build our society. Immigrants are creating problems only because we have not set up an infrastructure (which would employ people) to ease the transitions. Politicians are paid to think ahead, plan, coordinate and enable transitions for the good of the country. All border cities would benefit without the need for a concrete wall.
one point ended in the garbage can and then he got it going again and went to Montreal and finished it.
Some of the visual was over the top but in this day and age, what does that mean. It takes an Italian to
throw in what he threw in to this. Niko? Tavern??? what? Anyway, wow. But I probably didn't get it and won't until
I see it about 6 more times.
This one sort of reminded me of the same effect as Chicago 10. Recognizing the actors** is it real or is it not **
I need to see this one a few more times, also. Reading Susan Sontag on Photography and trying to sort through
what is going on. Believing we are going through a revolution that is very sophisticated not only in politics, religion, film making, family systems, corporate and beyond but head games that early propagandists would never have fathomed, much less, emulated. horah!
