I have lived in Alabama longer than I lived in Vermont, but I was in Vermont when Bernie was the Mayor of Burlington and I loved him then! But now, I really love him. Yet, Alabama is the total opposite demographically of Vermont and I have lived in Alabama longer.
I don't know who put this together or how long it took or any details other than I know a huge number of people who will really dig it.
Watch Commercial, see the whole thang.
It was so hot that I couldn't find my
car when the concert was over so Ali and
Justin had to drive around for blocks and
blocks to find my sticker covered
bumper! She will never let me live that down, for sure.
Styx AGAIN, with REO !!! AWESOME in 100+degree heat in the evening!!! What a show! I love them!
Neville Bros. wonderful and mellow. Aaron's voice so purely awesome! The brothers were enjoying their performance in spite of the heat! The Ultimate was the Skynrd's first
concert after Paris, France and frankly, I don't know how they could perform in that heat. They were professionals!
They were perfect even when technical issues hit the deck! They were totally what I needed to hear and can't wait for their CD. Too many acts to name in this posting.....the shows were full of folks like me and with their children who are the age we were at when these groups first started up. My neighbor remembers when Tommy Shaw came to Montgomery and had two flat bed trucks with amps on them and put on a show in the parking lot of a department store promoted by the local radio station d.j.
I NEVER knew Styx as anything other than a Chicago band until I moved down here and a few years ago my
Quick Stop Gas Station attendant told me they had played at the old BAMA Lanes on Atlanta Highway.
I have so much more to say. Oh, and I was interviewed by FOX TV on CAMERA. Check out the link!
I need to capture it somehow before it goes away. I met some really nice people from Jasper and promiss to load up my clips on MySpace as soon as I have time but others had better cameras than I did.
This is a new adventure for me
This music makes me feel like I am going out on saturday night in Chicago like I did in the old days and hearing these great bands for the first time. This just amazes me.
This is such a cool way to say, hey, listen to this group. They were broadcast on t.v. here in Alabama.
I still do not believe it.

* And here is another one, my friend. See, I am not in the boondocks! I have a converter box to pick up
digital free broadcast like t.v.used to be when it first came out in the dark ages!
