Vermont and Alabama who played on the beach for 5 years in Brookings, Oregon. She is the one who was an extra in the movie made in Alabama by Tim Burton "Big Fish". She is the one from Booker T. Washington Magnet H.S. Class of 2003 and University of Alabama Class of 2007. NOT the actress in the U.K. and Not the Washington intern.
I did this as a test to see if Google would put this up front of the 1000's of Ali Clarks....
This is my daughter and I'm proud of her on Mothers Day 2008.Try again later if this doesn't work.
Thomas Roughton in Union Springs left this link on a biz card.
Well, I just returned from the MOST AMAZING twice a year event. There were 150 campers of various sizes. There were families, dogs, kids, and PICKERS. There was a falling down (literally) old schoolhouse turned community center ready for Bob the Builder to demolish. There were so many friendly people of all ages and many, many older folks who had a smile. It has been going on since 1965. Old Rex (his brother doesn't appear to be involved) puts this on and draws people from all around. There was free breakfast (and a tip jar) funny signs, funny stuff, candy, cake, and music everywhere. You just walked around and there would be 10 musicians under the awning of an RV and then 50 feet away another 10 or 5 or 2. And the music was great all night long into 5 am sometimes. Sure, there were a few flat notes ("There is no perfection in this world" mostly experienced unknown (outside of Alabama) performers. BUT overall it was people having a great time. All week! Teresa and Dave were there tuesday and I got there friday. The storm came at 3:00 a.m. Sat nite. The computer voice on NOA kept saying to find a safe shelter. We were all in RV's...the winds weren't that bad, the lightening was 10 miles away and thunder scared the dogs half to death but we survived.
The joke was the old sofa covered in plastic which had a mini swimming pool on the seat. The tragedy is that this old schoolhouse can't be replaced or restored cost effectively. Newspaper clippings on the walls faded and told the story of this place. I have hundreds of pictures I will upload later on.
Bluegrass LIVES! A guy had a camera I wished I owned. His link is on top here. I haven't seen it yet.

UPDATE! Glen is in NYC running a 10 day event...currently in 3rd TOP AMERICAN in day 4!!!.
Clicking on the photo will take you my album of photos I took. Not the videos which are here.
Glen always had a gleam in his eye. As a young teen he seems to be a "cultural creative". He bounced from
various belief systems, projects, directions. I think he has bigger accomplishments ahead when he discovers them.
Glen is just the type of role model public school children need in this day and age.

I really want to go to the Sloss Furnaces some time. http://www.slossfurnaces.com/media/html/home/sloss_story.php
The hills and night lights remind me of Seattle sometimes. It's fun to drive at night. I hate the interstate
traffic. You feel like you are in a big city...with galleries and ethnic eateries . It's a big secret as far
as I'm concerned.
